I think it was around 450. My math said 500 would be enough to kill him, so i bought 600. But I intentionally didn't account for crits or reagent conservation procs in my math. Sooo... i'll be doing all my transactions in peridots for the foreseeable future. Edit: I actually think you could do it with an iksar just fine. My cleric didn't really drop below 90% until the last 10% or so when i started being extra liberal with the heals. A warrior would have a much easier time mitigating. The biggest help was that he had the skeleton proc which shrunk his hitbox.
Nope. I did try to run my wizard in to get some GSS hits off but a single round of rampage knocked him down pretty slow so i just stood back after that. Otherwise, rampage was a non-issue.
That's awesome, grats! I'm sad I didn't see your WTS post in Alliance, I've got plenty of alts who are probably buyers, haha.
Huh I could’ve sworn we had a few yelinak kills from Velious where a ramp tank died and cleric’s got eaten. Though I’m not sure I ever recall wiping to Yelinak so maybe I’m not remembering correctly.
Trio'd the swarmcaller event in umbral. Mostly just a DPS test along with being able to pull safely. 5 waves iirc before the swarmcaller spawns. He's not hard at all.
I managed Gorenaire today! Found her up when I went hunting HQ Brute Hides (Gotta make that Cultural gear!) The fight took 5m38s Gorenaire did about 120 dps to Meri (warrior) My trio did a whopping 45 dps, with Iarwain (bard) doing the most work at 21 dps, haha. Stupid slow. Cleric pet did 7, and Meri only did 8. She dropped 2x crooks, 1 orb, 1 bag, and a handful of "meh" spells. It was my 4th attempt. I learned that she will cast annul, so I had to load up some junk buffs to keep Aego up. Bard was mana draining, so by the time she hit 50%, she was OOM, so no CH, and no Gate at the end. I also waited until she was oom before starting defensive disc, cause she'd hit more often when she's not casting.
Double teamed the Ring10 war with @Walex Crushzilla was there afk as goalie in case we were failing, but didn't need him! Took lots of learnings and attempts, but here is video proof
Here's a new one for me, more proud of getting a spawn than the actual kill, the bone bag could barely hit me.
Been moving into trio initiates. can knock plate house off my list, and here's a video of killing the kromzek captain. Both were easy, bigger fish to fry
A major limitation to the BST/BST/Dru trio is indoor zones where your pacify dies. Luckily PoP is primarily only outside and Harmony of Nature will land on all the mobs. Try Zelnithak next, it should be doable. The only worry with Zelnithak is if a druid healer would be enough for the BST.
Good idea, donkey is usually up for a while too. Druids are pretty good at singling out indoor mobs near zonelines, with lifetap weapons and better resists I can probably tackle some of the more intimidating bosses (like maybe the va'dynn eventually), but my toons probably wont be ready for stuff like that till after PoP is already launched and the bar gets set much lower. The scarier stuff for me are like unresistable procs, death touches, banishment...
So, thanks for this idea. I needed some better bracers. I went and took him out today with Bard/Mage/Druid. I even had to deal with a stupid velium hound that added. I guess I'll grab him again for a second bracer when I see Scout Charisa up again.
Faydedar with my Bst/bst/dru, by the skin of my teeth. Totally forgot to give my pets the muzzles/tashorb from my bags.
Here's another new one for me, never attempted this guy before, but did tag-team Tawro with Ceerranea a month or so ago. Think this is what i've done so far with the 2xbst/dru (while in Luclin era), kind of sad PoP is dropping and this list is gonna be moot. -- trio warm-up -- [x] King Tranix in Nagafen's Lair [x] Drusella Sathir in Howling Stones [x] Phinigel Autropos in Kedge Keep [x] Lodizal in the Iceclad Ocean [x] Neh`Ashiir in City of Mist [x] Bledrek in Velketor's Labyrinth -- trio initiate -- [x] a Kromzek Captain in Western Wastes [x] full plate cycle, including Valorankt Zekkin, in Kael Drakkel [x] Spirit of Radir in Umbral Plains -- trio disciple -- [x] Faydedar in Timorous Deep -- group warm-up -- [/] Zelnithak in Umbral Plains (haven't attempted with trio yet, but have tag teamed it a couple times now)
Kelorek'Dar feels like he shouldn't be on this list anymore. Still a fun fight as a 2box. I'm not familiar with PoP content, I hope someone with more knowledge can update this list.
Never been one to shoot for 3-box achievements really, but just saw Gaukr up and gave him a shot with my ranger / cleric / ench and brought him down! Was a really fun challenge.
The hotfix popped a new challenge for me. Was able to clear the area and kill Grand Advisor Zum'uul solo. Unfortunately I did not beat the Queen, I got her to 50% on one try and 30% on another. But she's on my list now!
First Praesertum trio? Not sure if anyone has tried this yet since they are rotation mobs and all, but I was in the area and wanted to have some fun since I discovered a neat new pet Fairly confident I could trio all of the Praesertums in the same way. I backed off pet when the mob started fleeing and gated out at 4% Full Twitch stream of the video www.twitch.tv/videos/1441941790 or Youtube www.youtube.com/watch?v=c2-_Trb2eew Praesertum fun starts at 38min 20sec - I check if Praes mobs are up and ponder the strategy
Yeah, Praes don't banish pets. It was pretty common to box them that way on AK, but idk if anyone has tried here cuz rota.
Dozekar is trioable now. Here is my attempt where I got him to 2% and snatched defeat from the jaws of victory due to some bad luck with client window switching bugs. So, somebody else can attempt and claim the win, since I won't get another attempt in for a few months. Video of the encounter is below. Warning, it's almost an hour long. Client input bad luck vibes happen at 1hour 40mins. I almost recover with some divine rez magic, but sadly my cleric client totally crashes and exits shortly after
