Spell Book

So looking at my current spell book and PoP spells, PoP has 29 new spells level 61-65 for druid. I currently have every spell available to druids except Beguile Plants and my spell book only has 18 empty slots.

Meaning I will need to delete 11 spells to open up room come PoP, which is fine. But I am OCD and like having all spells available to me even that level 4 nuke that is extremely important!

I am curious where the spell book page count is kept for our server. Is it a client side thing or is that something that can be modified?

I know this is below 0 in the "I care about it meter" for everyone but myself, but I was just curious about where they store the logic for only having 32 pages in our spell book when some classes need 34!

 

The structs that limit number of scribed spells are fixed in the client.

So you can figure out what to delete. Or figure out which pop spells you can live without.

Thanks Haynar. That is what I figured was the case but I thought I may as well inquire.

 

The real question is what 11 spells are you going to be deleting?

Not even remotely reasonable to alter the mac client.

 

The 5 Endure resist spells seems like an obvious place to start. I can’t think of any reason I may need to cast them.

After that, the next 6 I am not sure! Perhaps Ro’s Fiery Sundering once I get Hand of Ro. Probably the low level single skins or low level group skins?

It’s weird because on AK I aimed to fill my spell book as well and for some reason I recall filling it and having 1-2 spell slots left. Maybe I just wasn’t as complete without the fancy Spell Guide we have here!

Darchon is the new king. On that note however... how DO you delete spells, I’ve tried in the past for like 2 min and it didn’t work so I gave up

right click spell in spell book, press the Del key on your keyboard

lower level heals are nice for PLing, so you don't overheal and waste mana
