    * zone crash fix - bard AE song could affect connecting clients that didn't load yet, we ignore these now until they're fully in world
    * Made AA titles visible to other players.
    * Resummon wizard familiar pet if you have the buff when entering zone
    * Change Balance of Zebuxoruk debuff to subtract 75% from heals instead of adding 25%
    * NPCs killed by Disintegrate spells should respawn normally now
    * load invis status from buffs earlier so invis players spawn as invis when entering zone
    * when force eating food from an inventory slot, check that the item about to be eaten is actually food before deleting it. this should prevent accidentally eating backpacks when trying to eat foraged vegetables.
    * break invis properly when casting an AA ability and adjust how instant spells are cast so that innate camo works the way it should
    * removed the chance of regaining concentration for players without the channeling skill (pure melee classes)
    * disable critical heals on percental heal spells (Tunare's Request, Kragg's Mending, Karana's Renewal)
    * fixed reverse damage shield effect not applying
    * change Veil of Elements to be a fixed duration invis spell
    * tweak casting and wear off messages for melee disciplines
    * prevent Stoicism, Torpor from stacking with movement speed increasing bard songs to avoid client buff desync

    * Improved pathing from open spaces to area with path nodes.

    * Fungus Grove caller quest NPCs no longer depop in combat and now corpse camp.
    * Fungus Grove caller quest nameds now depop 1 minute later than the common NPCs.
    * Fungus Grove caller quest named spawn chance reduced slightly.
    * Grimling Forest 'miner bug' script implemented. A limit of 30 is in place.
    Robregen
    * Sanctus Seru: LIS should now have his hatelist wiped and fully healed when he leash back to his spawnpoint.
    * The Deep: Depop all the summoned burrowers properly and reset the cycle when Restless is killed.

    Misc
    Haynar

    * Added pathing to caves and around entrance in Umbral Plains.
    * Added pathing in Maiden's Eye. Mobs should path into zone in/out areas better.
    * Improved pathing in Akheva Ruins. Mobs should path around corners and up/down steps better.
    * Improved pathing in Ssra Temple. Mobs should go up and down ramps and corners better.

    I’m curious to what is determined to be “near your level”. For the vast majority who are 60, most EXP camps are 55 and lower mobs. Zones like Sebilis, Velketor, the Deep, Ssra, etc.

    Only a handful of camps have 58-60 trash mobs (FG Shard, Seru Praesertum guards, Ssra Insignia PHers, Seb Juggernauts).

    This may just be how the game was designed though!

    Yea I saw that but I still wasn’t clear.

    White cons grant that bonus. But I would imagine blue cons just shy of being white cons get some lesser bonus scaling down to some point?

    IE Level 59s give 200%, 58s give 160%, etc.

    Or is there a hard break. A level 60 mob will give a level 60 player a 230% increase in EXP compared to last patch. But a level 59 mob will give the exact same?

    Also I’m curious how it works in grouped scenarios, where basically all of these will be. Does a level 53 in a group killing red con 56s get that 150%ish increase if they are grouped with a 60?

    I already don't like the long string of bugs that grant this server massive experience bonuses, so I'm not going to add a non-AK bonus to it. Long story short is PoP zones didn't just grant lots of exp because of their ZEMs. Shortly before PoP, Sony changed the experience algorithm to award more experience to higher level kills. I did an audit of our exp code and found it to be incomplete. I thought Cavedude had this done with packet data, but I was wrong.

    Zamiel's experience thread included examples of exp per kill at various levels and group sizes, so it's obvious when the exp/kill is off. I also checked my logs to see how many kills were required for an AA from caller quest NPCs, and my log required more kills, so it's possible we may be awarding more exp per kill (at least for AAs) from low blues, but I can't figure out why yet. This stuff is hard to figure out and may never be certain.

    Since I can’t edit, I will add, I suppose it isn’t completely necessary players have a full understanding of the inner workings of our EXP code.

    It’s out of curiousity I ask these questions. But I understand if the Devs don’t feel like they should receive answers.

    Very neat! Thanks Torven, hopefully this makes Ssra EXP a bit more tolerable and AE EXP a little less attractive.

    Exactly. I like this change a lot. Vaporizing froglok dar knights with my Fangs of Vyzh'dra (#humblebragon) shouldn't be the best XP pathway.

    Clicky items sound effects are all busted atm, if this is intentional? Can't remember Jboots / Shrunken Goblin Skull earring / 10th ring etc is supposed to make these sounds. Maybe different on AK then live?

    There should be sounds and particle effects from clickies like JBoots. Busted sounds bad - can you explain what you mean?

    Sound effects are incorrect on all the clicky items. Also they all create a spell text now. Didnt do this before.

    I think its the first one, anyways after more testing, I can say that the sound effects that is different seems to be that you get 2 sound effects going off at the same time. You have the classic "casting a spell sound" + the item itself's sound.

    So Begin casting for any non-instant clicky is correct.

    Instant clickies seem to skip that phase in the messaging though.
