I remember it was possible to view all possible factions for each character in the game - now when I click on "Factions" in the game account, an empty table is shown. Does anyone remember what I am looking for? Thanks!
Ive played on and off since 1999. The last serious expansion I played in was DoDH on live and then I transitioned to Al'Kabor, and I've never heard of this being the case. If it was, wow!
Mascha was talking about factions listed on our TAKP magelo. It was cool, gave the exact number etc It stopped working 9 months ago or so after a patch.
It was rather useful, helped me decide which routes to take in questing and leveling for the specifics of faction grinding while still getting XP at the same time.
Rob wanted that turned off for mobs. The way that is written it covers all faction numbers npc and pc. never mind me here, I got magelo and allaclone mixed up.
do you mean the faction pts on each mob's page or the page on magelo showing all our faction standings?
I asked rob what he wants to do about faction display. Not really sure on this as showing exact numbers feels too much like hand holding, making it too easy.
What about displaying the range it falls in? Whether its Ally, kindly, etc. I understand that since each range is probably unique for the specific faction, this may not be possible though without a ton of faction serverside work. Really love being able to see offline if I have the faction to complete specific quests though. Or what faction needs love. I'm a bit OCD with factions.
