Seriously,why are there so few in the newbie zones if any ? None at all in NRo. Also noticed hardly any gnoll pups or orc pawns in Qeynos/FP/Kaladim newbie zones. Is this a AlKabor thing from live ? And yeah,totally new here,hey all.
Because they share spawns with other mobs. Some people go in and kill the skeletons for bone chips. Leaving hardly any up. Slaughter everything, and they will spawn.
What Haynar said is what I've experienced as well. gnolls/orcs in qeynos/fp are often targetted specifically for monk headband/sash, skeletons for bone chips. A full slaughter has always seemed to 'reset' it back to normal proportions for me.
My favorite spot for decaying skeletons is the paineel newbie zone (evil Erudites.) They don't share spawns there with the other monsters, so you can clear the 5-7 skeletons every couple minutes.
