Allright folks, I did some digging and couldn't find a good answer so I post this here in hopes it'll help some other folks as well. My apologies as I never played a ranger that much before. In regards to the tracking skill. I push the "tracking" button. This pops up the "tracking" window. I click on a target and then push "track". It starts to pop up in my main window that so and so is to the right. To get skill ups, do I just need to do this once and let it run? Or do I need to keep gonig through the motions of tracking, then click on the target and push track? Is there an easier way to do this if the latter is the case? Thanks folks!
You skillup tracking by pressing the "track" button each time it refreshes. You've gotta mash the keyboard a good bit.
You can bind a hot key for track (and forage, hide, sense heading etc) to a a key that you also use for movement, effectively trying to push them every time you turn or walk. It helps with passive gain for sure.
Man, so timing, I need to get/level up few rangers for some scouting-tracking bots. I had no clue it is so easy, so thanks from me as well
It's pretty easy to level tracking as you go if you bind it to one of your turn keys. Personally, the first thing I do on a new alt is bind sense heading / track / forage to my turn keys. Then as I run around the world they get pressed and level pretty fast.
