I just want to check with the dev team if it is cool to use loggers. Of course parsing should be ok, and even encourage. But what about map overlays by reading /locs from the log file and putting them on the map? Or reading a log file for a buff timer and using that? As long as nothing is done automatically, or pushed to the client it should be ok, right?

That should be fine if not automating anything or injecting anything in the netstream or memory.

Speaking of which, anyone know a good parser program that works well on our client that will show all of the info when you ask it to? Like after a named mob or a dungeon run or whatever? I really loved doing a super long xp grind and someone would post a block of info showing dps, heals, etc.
