As much as I love to stay as classic as possible - that doesn't mean everything classic is good or even bearable. In this case I'd like to figure out how, or if anyone knows how, to deal with this:

I'd love to remove the constant Thunder Boom (and maybe a couple other sounds while Im at it).

After some research from Project 1999 (yes, I'm aware it's not the same setup):
There should be a file called "SoundAssets.txt" but I don't see it in my EQ folder. Supposedly one can edit this file easily without having to deal with the .PFS files (because I have no idea how to open them and edit the .WAV files contained inside of the .PFS's). Apparently there's some software out there for Windows that can handle it, but that doesn't do me a lot of good on a Mac.

No, I don't want to play with the sound off while it's raining. No, I don't want to play with the sound off while I'm by the volcano in Lavastorm. :p
