Ok i don't think this is the right place but recently i keep crashing crashing when zoning crashing when starting the client crashing when loading a toon no Error just back to desktop or back to log i and Long time establishing connection with login server messages
I was talking with someone ingame i zoned into Misty thicket to run to the pok book i crashed during zone to desktop with no error message and i haven't been able to get back in i keep crashing at various stages. in some cases get all the way to character Screen pick mannus my druid i goes to the loading screen then POOF back to desktop
Ensure you either have UAC disabled on your machine or nothing is trying to run as administrator. If anything takes focus away from the eqw client it can and will crash. Alternatively you can try Secrets Client which I believe does not have that issue.
how did you setup the client you are using now? http://wiki.takp.info/index.php?title=Getting_Started download the pre-configured windows download, and dxtory then see if you are still crashing... if you are, continue on with the part that says (Optional - Recommended) Using Secret's Updated Client
