If I click on a researched spell in the Spell Guide, I get a page like this: https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=15307 Would it be possible for the Spell Guide to link to this page instead? https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=16217 It seems that all of the researched spells point to a page that doesn't list the source as researched. Is there any particular reason why these spells have multiple IDs? Edit: I'm not sure why I thought this was an issue that only affected researchable spells. Of the 4 I found with alternate IDs, 2 of them are actually researchable.
I'm not sure why eq did 2 diff versions. My guess was that they planned on having 1 researched and one obtained another way like quests or vendor or maybe a 2nd recipe. Most are identical, but some were weird like 'Spell: Charm' had a necro version but was set at lvl 255 so it couldn't be scribed. If Lenas or someone is maintaining the spell guide (this was Speedz's awesome creation), I could probably go through and make a list of stuff needing removed or redirected. Ideally the guide will show the vendor version, and if it's research-only, it'd show that version.
I went through the enchanter spells and found these, which have a second ID with a source: https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=9987 https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=9986 https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=15307 https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=15177 The following show no source and have no alternate ID with a source: https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=12949 https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=15678 https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=19386 https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=19381 https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=19379 https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=28452 https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=28453 https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=26944 https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=28643 https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=28644 https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=28413 https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=28455 https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=28457 https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=28469 https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=26947 https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=21665 https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=21667 https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=21639 https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=28458 https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=28460 https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=28461 https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=28464 https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=21666 https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=28459 https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=28465 https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=28468 https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=28415 https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=28470 https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=21664 https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=21648
Hmmm... isn't it quite "normal" for e.g. Tashania, Kunark turn in spells, PoP spells to not have a regular source in Alla Clone? (All spells on the 2nd list? I looked at just a few.) In the sense that quested items just don't reveal their source there? Somewhat related But different issue. (Looks like a special case that a "unique" on the spell ID can't catch. The spell actually exists twice, and there's a scroll for each of the - otherwise identical - versions. I guess you could scribe https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=19213 just fine if you were to somehow acquire it.)
