Updated PC client version 2.0 are on the wiki. The list of fixes and changes are listed there. http://wiki.takp.info/index.php?title=Getting_Started#The_Supported_Windows_Client
Is there a list of the updated files compared to the old one? So then we can just copy/replace the new stuff in without having to remake a client file
No there isnt. Since there were so many different combinations of client/dll, eqw, etc., this would not be trivial to do. I personally used the installer. And copied my char files over to the new folder. Then done. H
It's way more complicated than that for me with 3 installs, a UI with a couple windows taken from other ones, etc. Could you point me to just the BST MGB files please?
Everybody wants to be a power user until it's time to do power user stuff I'd recommend that you back up your current config, download BeyondCompare, and start merging your settings into the new install. There isn't anything as simple as an mgb file(s), it's in the executable.
A list of MD5 hashes for every file in the archive is provided on the wiki. You can use a tool like MD5summer or FileVerifier++ to determine which files have been added or modified. This is harder and more time consuming than simply copying over ini files and your UI folders over into a new install, though.
Its in eqgame.dll https://www.dropbox.com/s/bsghqdkqhwmsido/eqgame.dll?dl=0 Thats set up for using with latest client build. Its not tested with older client setups.
Thanks for providing this client update guys, it's great to have such a comprehensive package to use.
