we've got a charmed shissar revenant pet in ssra that's doing pitiful DPS, as if he were slowed. Spells on the pet: banshee aura shieldskin grim aura howl of tashan ensnare speed of vallon command of druzzil pet is dual wielding and sitting at 21 DPS right now. It's not that he's just casting spells super frequently. he's actually just swinging slowly even 5 minutes into the fight
Update: We evacced out and left the lethargic pet up. first mob on the right as you enter the room, should be dual wielding.
Upon further inspection of my logs, it seems he was only bashing. We tried re-charming mid-fight and scooting him closer to the mob he was attacking. I just went back and re-charmed him (he was still holding his weapons from earlier so i know nobody killed him) and i was unable to reproduce the issue. Maybe it has to do with the mob he was attacking? In this case it was Rhag`Zhezum. Jarienc was the enchanter who charmed him. Did the revenant have non-magic weapons equipped? Not sure if that would make a difference, but may be worth checking.
I know I’ve run into this issue before and I was fairly certain I posted about it but I’m not seeing anything. The bug is interesting because breaking charm the mob will continue to only bash even when uncharmed. But it will undo itself at some point, I don’t know if it just required time or logging in/out but eventually the mob would swing regularly again. It is quite rare but when it happens it’s very annoying especially when it’s a spot where there’s only one or two available charmed pets. In most spots you just break that one and charm another, going on about your day.
