With the advent of the new 10-account limit (THANK YOU!!!), are we going to be able to move characters from off of our original 3 accounts and onto our additional 7 accounts soon? With the understanding the devs are busy finalizing Kunark, should we request a toon move on the forums, or will there be another method of doing this? Thanks again for all the things you're doing, it's appreciated! I felt like a kid on Christmas morning when I read the post about the new 10-account limit, but it's veritably unusable (to me) at this point without moving my toons around.
I have worked all day on expanding the GM tool. My next plan is to create the mover utility and the guild utility. Stay tuned for further info But at this time we won't manually move characters around. Once that tool is done, players will be able to move characters around at their leisure. Both tools need some serious thought put into them to sidestep any potential security issues. Those with prior approved exemptions will need to hop on IRC (with the chat link up top^) if they have issues getting new accounts to work.
Even though moves aren't currently available, when I tried logging into my 4th account I wasn't able to. Access was denied when I entered the credentials (something like server isn't allowing something at this time). Is this still locked for some reason or am I experiencing a different issue? Edit: I don't have an exemption that I know of, so I'm not sure if that part applied in this case.
you should only log in 3 accounts at a time. not 4 edit: ah nevermind I see it. I'll bring that to Speedz attention

Looks to be working now. Haven't tested extensively but I can now get one of the newly unlocked accounts to character select which wasn't working before. Thanks guys!
It won't be hastily released. Want to make sure it is tested well. We don't need dupes and accidental "stolen" or lost accounts/characters.
You know you are getting too tired to code when the only way JS plays nice is when it looks ugly. Back at it tomorrow....
I'm assuming this will be in the news section when you decide to release it? I'm trying to choose if i should spend tedious time to re-level chars and do huge char transfers or just wait a longer. Not in any way shape or form do I intend to sound "pushy" at all but I was curious if you had a round-about time when you think this will be released? Also, will all items/money on the character and in the bank be transferred as well? So, so, so very grateful and happy that you are doing this.
Everything to do with that character will be transferred, even if guilded etc.. The tool is done, it is just in the testing phase. It depends on who I have for testing and their technical know how to try to "hack" it so I can plug potential leaks. Anything and everything related to the transfer utility is logged in detail. So I can notice most issues after the fact. But prefer a pre-emptive approach. It just needs some whitehat hacking love before I am ready to release.
I'm not big on alts but always enjoy seeing improvements and quality of life additions, thanks to all that were involved!
