Puppet strings Item Icon

anyone else have serious issue seeing the puppet strings item icon?

Is there a way to change it to a different icon? I inverted its values in photoshop.. see attachment. I think it would be much better to see it this way!

I've done this as well. You go to the folder containing your UI. I for example use Power of Two, and the graphic for that item is in pot_dragitem05.tga. I would make you're adjustments in that sheet instead of editing an individual item. If you use default UI the file is dragitems9.tga

That just changes the graphic for that image though right? Not just for that one item? I assume that rat whiskers and such would appear the same as puppet strings no?

 

Yes, but anything that has the same graphic will also have the same visibility problems.
