3rd Anniversary Event

With the winter solstice upon us, King Tormax has sent a messenger to Thurgadin with an offer to cease hostilities among their two races. Being wary of giants bearing gifts, the Dain has sent an Emissary to the Plane of Knowledge to seek the aid of adventurers who will help uncover the true motives behind this offer.

Seek out the Emissary of the Dain in the Plane of Knowledge beginning December 27th and Happy Anniversary TAKP!

Would anybody please be able to post some info about this event? I'm not able to play, but keen to know what is going on thank you

 

Kill frost Giants and rygorr in Velious for a note. Turn in the note in PoK, get random reward.

I killed about 40 mobs got 1 note turned in and got 3 platinum reward.

 

I heard there's a 1/100 chance of getting a Manastone.

 

Wait I remember this event in EW... on AK with GM items dropping every three seconds...

 

Different event. That one was much more scripted (and, in typical Al'Kabor fashion, broken, hence so many "Artifact" tagged items).

ya'll could have at least made the Emissary of the Dain a thurg dwarf, or a cloaked one, or given it cool looking armor or something, even a set of https://www.takproject.net/allaclone/item.php?id=25851

he's just a naked dorf, he would be so cold in ice well!
