Yea, I raided there as well. It was an amazing time, loved the idea. Really did hate the fact they didn't have Epics though. And if I had known it was gonna die out, would have stuck it out a bit longer heh
I played on SoD for a few years. killed all the raid targets with uhhh, Phoenix Order? Order of the Phoenix? something like that lol terrible remembering names sometimes. My Magician's name is Kaily on SoD.
I was a WOTC tournament organizer in North East Ohio for 11 years. From 1992 - 2003. Wish I had known that WOTC employees had a guild, that sounds pretty neat!
I love these posts =).. I always hope to find some of the old friends and family.. My memory is bad due to advanced age and way to many daddy vitamins, but at best recollection.... At release in 1999 I started on the Rathe Server as a Tylaric (Ranger) and shortly after that a few new friends and I moved to Brell and created the guild Tiarc (still miss you guys!).. From there I ended up breaking due to a divorce ( haha.. divorce and EQ.. completely unheard of ) ... I came back a few years down the road and did a stint on Firiona Vie (Tylaric - Cleric) and had fun there with the Role Play community even though I wasn't much for RP myself. While all the fuzzy wuzzies were out "harking who are thouing", I was farming and grinding !! - Good times though... Such good times =). Played a little on the Test Server where I developed my love for the small community servers ( like TAKP ) and the make due play style. Which eventually lead me to AK where I was Nemis (Chanter) / Tylaric (Cleric) / Gwee (Druid)
Yep that's it Phoenix Rising lol. I loved playing SoD, new Raid mobs and loot. new zone/zonelines. Fantastic server when it was jumping. we used to get P99 numbers in the prime times in like 2008/9.

That Tunare ezboard was wild. I played on Tunare from 1999ish-2003ish as a human warrior, Nimmin Nimmin. I never really raided, only made it to 55ish in that timeframe. I was young and on a family PC, so my playtime and ability to play uninterrupted was minimal. I also played on AK as Sihon for a time.
Oh man, I had forgotten about the Tunare ezboard. Yes, that definitely got out of hand from time to time.

She recognized my name and my bot was named after her toon from live- It had been at least 10 years. Never really did raiding stuff until way later, like around 2009. I mostly just bounced around and did whatever, almost never exp per hour focused. As was mentioned earlier in the thread; Looking through my bank was just an absolute trip down memory lane. Hyper specific and detailed memories of the game, and my life at the time, from just looking at icons of items. Those weirdo evolving pants that talked, for instance. Anyway, I've been playing as Codanth / Crypas on TAKP so far, and am really having a good time. It's sort've like revisiting my childhood since I was so young when my brother bought the game.

I played Tunare between 00-04. I was in Ice Dragons of Evil and then Stars. They were both Hong Kong guilds that had the same timezone as me and some others. Iirc it was Talisman, Stars and DC contesting at the top end for a period. We ended up leaving shortly after OoW launched to goto EQ2/WoW. Character name: Swiftbow

Kabijito - Tunare Server Guilds in order were: Force of Valor till Luclin Divine Crusade untill Gates of Discord Mal'Deth untill Joining Talisman between Omens and SoF but Eci ended up bring open raiding back to the server when servers merged so i started doing a lot of them untill stopping in SoD. I was also Radda in Darkblood of SoleskRo on FIppy darkpaw server.
I started on Errolisi Marr in March of 1999 as Tashanna Telcontar, Wood Elf Druidess and one of the founding members of the Stone Guard guild. The following year I met a coworker who convinced me to move to Rallos Zek. There I joined the Blood Coven and became Suriinya Val'Sharess, Dark Elven Enchantress. And that is who I have been ever since.

I was also Danzig on live. I joined a month or two before it shut down and only made it to level 52'ish, so none of y'all prob know meh.
The first guild on Xev I was a member of was Black Burrow Stout Company. It was there i goofed off with Loral. It is crazy that 20 years later we all ended up finding each other again. Crazy how things work out.
OH yes ! You were an aggro machine indeed! As one of your fellow MT in rotations, it was always a challenge to get or keep aggro away from you ... We were like rockstars for a long while on Druzzil, how long were we the only guild to have downed AoW? Alone in Time...
