Slow day at work! If anyone had a checklist of things to finish before Luclin launch and you failed, feel free to lament your shortcomings here. I'll start. I started playing on TAKP in February with bst/clr/wiz. Managed to more or less get them ready for Luclin (max exp, some decent if not amazing gear), but realized fairly late that bst/clr/mag is a much more efficient combo that fits my lazy playstyle. I'll never understand how wizard nukes aren't vastly superior to mage nukes considering everything else mages can do, but I'll save that rant for another time. Anyway, I wanted to hit 60 on the mage by Luclin, but ran outta time. Will have to settle for 55!
I was hoping to get 60 on my paladin and a CotH Bot prior to Luclin but I only just got him to 59 and the bot to 58. I also sort of wanted to complete every epic quest in Velious but I stalled out my SK alt at 30 and never finished that epic.
I want to save up enough plat for 3 solstice earrings. But with all the fire sales, I blew my wad on all sorts of stuff. But I made sure to get the horses first.
Missed: - finish shm epic on alt - solstices - missing a couple old-world rare spells - chardok quests Accomplished: - 2 horses - got my other half interested in the game Gotta prioritize when time is limited!
Of all the things you failed to accomplish.... the shaman epic???? Really?? It takes like 45 minutes That seems waaaay easier than getting your other half interested ha. That’s like all epics combined
I meant to max out my trio's XP in preparation for AA grinding. I had 2/3 done, and then ate a death with no rez a few days ago on one of them.
Vulak ring is Luclin era?? Sorry for my lack of knowledge but then what was there? Was it Vulak but no ring event? ToV was obviously there so just curious what was added. I guess that also earns some major kudos to the Temerity crew for dropping those fools PRE era. Impressive my dudes. Impressive
Prior to Luclin era, Vulak was simply up and would call to his aid any Lords and Ladies that were up if you aggroed him. He also had 6~ drake guards in his room you needed to split. It was a joke of a fight once he is isolated from his drake guards though. He has a high max hit and does flurry but is 100% slowable. So once you slow him you basically autowin. Like Dozekar, Vulak on his own is a total joke compared to the loot he drops. #DozekarRing2019
The problem with the Vulak Ring is that once Luclin launches he simply doesn't make sense vs the amount of time it takes to clear all of NTOV for mostly obsolete loot and then fight the Ring as well. It would be a perfect event for Project 1999, but here I guess NTOV will simply sit empty from now on.
Tem on AK started playing with planes of power already launched and even they went back to do Vulak like 6 times? He will be done again. Some items are valuable into POP and the Abashi rod has no equal.
