Hello all. Im looking for a good gear non-raid or tradeable gear for a 55+ bard that i can start working on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'm your huckleberry. My Level 63 bard, Non-raid/tradable/buyable gear. I purchased the ornate arms and a MQ for the breastplate and legs, and also purchased/was gifted several MQ's for the epic. It could be better, but it's not awful. Bracer of Benevolence and Eyepatch of Plunder I did myself. Before PoP opened, Moktor armor would rot, and I got several pieces that way - the Moktor Boots are hold overs from that era. haha
You could camp the FT3 boots from CT. If you charm kite on the bard, the mosquito boots from CT are also great. Ornate legs are buyable (or potentially campable, depending on what toon/toons you play) and among the best bard items in the game. The pernicity cloak quest is pretty easy and it's a solid droppable bard item. Harder but better: loyalist shield(/cloak) quest. A fungi is cheap on this server and very good for some bard playstyles. The Singing Steel helm and boots are essential items that give new, useful bard abilities. The BP is solid for some playstyles too.
I'm basically listing top-end stuff that is droppable: Boots of the Storm / Ornate Boots Velium Encrusted Gauntlets / Gauntlets of Dragon Slaying (can probably find someone to sell you loot rights) Flayed Barbarian Hide Mask / Mask of Tinkering Salindrite Dagger Ornate Greaves Ornate BP Ornate Arms (often free) White Dragon Helm Loyalist Shield of Honor (triod mine with non-raid gear) Medallion of the Arcane Scientists Can't remember the belt I used. I think it came from Tactics.
Lots and lots of good advice Instruments are on the wiki, get the best drum you can, Thunderous Drum of Karana is non-raid (and tradeable) If you don't have the bellow AA yet you might want to have some clicky with high range for some pulls, e.g. Forlorn Totem of Rolfron Zek is 200 range and very cheap to recharge edit: Forget about that clicky - I never bothered to propery check range on spells, thinking 30ish or 100. Can just pull with Fufil's or such.
