I thought I'd ask if anyone has seen a strange stutter in the client lately. Stock PC client, win 10, was playing great for the preceeding year or so. Now about every minute it locks up for 1-2 seconds. Seems totally client-side, stuff keeps happening server side. Can't find any pattern other than about every minute or so. Have rebooted & checked video drivers. Anyone seem similar lately?

Er - wrong forum, meant to target general discussion. If a mod could move it, I'd be grateful.

Mine does that sometimes when I use right click mouse to turn. Completely disorienting.

Right, although I can't relate it to any one action...it just happens on it's own. Must be just me.

Do you have heavy activity on your hard drive when this happens?
Example: hard drive light straight lit up.

Same issue started happening to me this morning. Client ran fine for the last few weeks since I started playing.

Windows 10 on an SSD. Running dgVoodoo2 as well.

Stuttering when i had it, was graphics driver related. Some update caused it.

I have also tried WineD3D For Windows. This version worked for me. So if dgvoodoo2 doesn't work, you can also try this.

    WineD3DForWindows_2.2-staging-x86_64.zip

It is a wrapper for DirectX to OpenGL. It may or may not work for you. But won't hurt to give it a try I guess. It even allows changing resolution, without crashing like dgvoodoo2.

I had it happen, it actually got to the point I could barely move in pok right after a stressful fight that it started stuttering on.

I afk'd for about 5 minutes, came back and I was able to move on 2 boxes again but one had a eqmain.dll error message and had crashed.

Restarted computer and haven't had issues since.
