EXP Bonus and Death Penalty

With beta around the corner and the wipe out of the EXP Bonus a question came to mind on my commute to work =).

Is exp bonus and death penalty related? That being, server wide EXP Bonus, and racial modifiers.

I read that an Iksar Necro gets a 32% exp penalty (maybe not here, but originally) - so is that penalty realized in less loss upon a death? Or instead, is it when you die you take x% expo loss based on level ..

 

There are no class/race penalities, so it is the same for all toons.

It had race penalties but not class. And given that it had a global exp mod and the benefits of oog toonage ... good times.

 

Oh ... thats something.. Will that OOR exp trick work here?
