I recall from the old days there was some math involved with Charm DPS.. My group is chanter charm based. So, I charm a pet (not DC), cast a DD, and I get full lexp from the encounter. Can I also DC with 1 other toon and get my full exp ?
I believe regular charm you just need to do 1 dmg. But to get full exp with dire charm your group has to do 51% of the dmg
The code with Dire Charm has never been fully described to the players so only the developers on this server know exactly what is in place. From my minimal experience with it, it felt like if a single dire charmed pet did 50%+ damage there was significant EXP loss. However in the case of multiple dire charm or a single dire charm and single normal charm I didn’t notice much exp change because the DC pet never had a chance to reach 50%+
Thanks all, My take on this is that my Chanters primary charm will be the primary damage dealer which would be part of my DPS so the DC wouldn't touch that.. Appreciat the feed back
