This is just a reminder - if you're following the rules you have nothing to worry about.

Please make sure you have read and understood the rules here:
    https://www.takproject.net/forums/index.php?threads/new-simple-rules.9270/
    https://www.takproject.net/forums/index.php?threads/rules-101.7/

    - It is not okay to have more than one forum account. Please don't try to play us for fools. Don't tell us that it's your friend, spouse, child, brother or dog account. I don't recommend it but if you do share your login (game) accounts, that is different from the forum account which you should never share. A person who has the password to your forum account is the owner of all the login accounts and if you have passwords to more than one forum account then you're breaking the rules and you should fix this. Petition if you need help.

    - IP exemptions. This is a courtesy extended to trusted players not just given to every new player who joins. You do not need a special exemption to introduce the game to your child - just don't play 3 at once. Family members are not extra account credits. We all wish our family would play with us, but playing for them in case they decide to play again later is not okay. If they didn't create an account themselves and aren't actively playing regularly then it's simply your account not your family member's, even if you think of it that way.

    - Boxing with VPNs is not okay. If you're doing this, you will get banned eventually and any accounts that were shared with you will also be banned, even if you are using VPNs to do it. If we catch people doing this at a raid, the penalty will be a lot more severe. I urge the guild/raid leaders to make really sure that this is not happening in your guild and at the raids you're leading.

    - Rule lawyering about accounts. It's very simple - you're supposed to be playing your own accounts that you picked the names for and they should all be under your one forum account that you created. Anything else is at best a grey area, and likely a rule violation. Read Speedz's rules post again.

    - If you are banned, it is you personally who is banned, not just your character/account. Do not harass discord admins about it, do not log into other people's accounts and do not make a new account on TAKP.

I have observed violations that I haven't banned people for because I understand it has gone unenforced for a long time and I don't want to spring it on everybody without warning - so this is the warning.

This is a voluntary participation hobby community. If you are coming here to play more than one on Quarm or more than 3 on TAKP then this community is not for you. If you're a veteran who's been here a long time and you've been bending the rules and getting away with it, please straighten up or it will catch up with you and all your time loot will be gone and possibly your whole guild will get busted up if we have to play whack-a-mole with shared accounts.

I appreciate you all and I enjoy working on this project and doing whatever I can to keep this going, but I can't just watch people disrespecting the rules and turning this into a free for all since Speedz is gone and enforcement has been lax. The box limit is a crucial part of the experience here and it is really unfair to those who are following the rules when they see other people getting away with breaking them. I don't want to ban any more people, so I'm pleading with you all to stick to playing 1 on Quarm or 3 on TAKP, even if it means not killing something that you don't have enough people for. If you have people in your friend group who are doing this, I'm not asking you to rat them out, I probably already know who they are, but maybe you can talk some sense into them.

If you have concerns/comments about this, don't post your private business here or on discord - post in the petition forum which is only visible to staff.
