Direct heal spells are not landing on players. Currently there is no way to heal other than regen / HoTs. New raiding meta??
casted fd was failing just fine as it is. remember it has a cast time already, a longer refresh than monks, and can be interrupted. it is supposed to fail less than monk fd. why do u have the sks?
Presumably a dev cast a thousand FDs on Live and measured the fail rate? Seems fine to me, follow the data. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
according to spell data death peace is supposed to have a 98% success rate. gonna test it today to see if we match it correctly. here comes a bunch of fd casts lol
well, ya, the devs have lives and are volunteers. they don't get paid to sit there and patch things live. They'll post and reboot when it changes.
Dementia is hitting for 75 damage every time as well. It looks like any spells that scale, are doing the minimum right now. Spell Effects: Decrease Hitpoints by -75 (L) to -675 (L-75)
I heard someone say virtue lasted for 20 minutes as well, would also fit in line with spells not scaling to the casted level.
forgot i can't edit posts here, but virtue lasting 20 minutes was before the hotfix, im not sure if that's still a thing. Dwin tested druid DS's and they seem to be scaling properly to casted level. Not sure why some spells aren't scaling and some are. Possibly only affecting detrimental spells?
Spells appear to be hitting for their minimum values, as though they are ignoring the effects of leveling. For example, my Blizzard Blast is only hitting for 280 at 65, and Frost Spear only 375. The previously reported Dementia also jives with this, as 75 is it's minimum.
The error with spell cast FD was that due to how the roll was done, high level SK FD was failing at 1% instead of 2%
